“I think this podcast has a really good start to it. They have a firm theme right out the gate and seem to have a good structure for their discussion. I can see why they were picked for the contest!
I appreciate that they provide some historical context and info for within the movies and for the time in which they were filmed. I’m not a “movie person” either in the sense I have never and probably will never see the majority of the films they will cover here, and I still find it amusing! The hosts have a good level of banter and familiarity with each other. I’ve enjoyed all four episodes that have been out so far.
I do find it a bit odd that one of the hosts is very squeamish to both sounds and visual violence, but the other host can carry the discussion in those parts. I do hope she’s able to overcome it though so she can more fully watch the films.”
