Texas Newbie
Originally from Texas and a year here in Colorado has led me to discover some new hobbies. After a season of winter hiking, summering some snowy 14ers, and skiing the crap out of the resorts, I’ve been getting the itch to venture away from people.. which led me to search out for some information on backcountry skiing. Books and online articles are cool, but finding this podcast has been the best thing ever. Working in the Denver area as a HVAC Technician I get a ton of drive time every day. That being said, I’ve put in about two podcast episodes a day for the last two weeks. It’s all I listen to during the day. I’m currently on Episode 24. It’s been a wealth of knowledge and I’ve had some legitimately good laughs listening to you guys. I’m heading up 70 to stay in Aspen this weekend and would love to meet you guys if you’re around and also want to check out the shop. Anyway, enjoy the show and keep up the great work!

I learned about this podcast from Ted and Christy Mahons website, and my review is only about their episode. I was very disappointed with the Ted and Christy Mahon interview. They are about as hardcore as it gets in the backcountry and ultrarunning community and the interviewers barely even...Read full review »
