“There are many preachers that anyone can listen to, but only a few catch my attention, James Merritt is a gifted down to earth teacher who makes sense and causes you to think so that you have to dig deep in what you believe. He doesn’t demand you do as he says but lays out a case for what to believe and it is up to you to judge for yourself. I belong to a church that for some reason this new pastor has to reteach us because we don’t know and he knows it all and only he has the gift. To be quite honest God will deal with him and remove him. But I wish I lived near James Merritt, a good teacher makes you a Beran where you have to see if it’s from God or man. The man or woman that doesn’t do that is no different than a cult leader which many who are in the pew are led astray easily because they are demanded to obey. God is using James Merritt to awaken a sleeping church to do its job that was understood in the beginning but lost because of men trying to out think God. I can only praise God for men like James Merritt for keeping us in line to that which God has for us.”
