Meh.
The Britney story is such an interesting saga, and I expected this podcast to be conducted with the same seriousness and professionalism that NY Times did in their documentary. The hosts are REALLY annoying, I can’t stress this enough. They love injecting pointless information about their own lives and friendship way too often, and use annoying catch-phrases and inside jokes that are just distracting and cringe. I’m also not a fan of both of them narrating, shifting back and forth, like they are reading a book aloud. I give them 3 stars because they do provide some interesting information and interviews with key players that are missing from other documentaries (like Jason Allen Alexander). They lose two stars because they are overly jokey and unprofessional with very serious subject matter.

Based on the hosts’ past work, I’m so ready for this. They are the right folks to tell this story and I’m excited to hear them working in this new style/format. The whole world needs to hear this story!
