“I’m a big fan of Nat. Geo. research, quality and willingness to establish itself with integrity and solid reporting.
Of course, I have my Elem. students hooked in on the student research topics & student online Discovery mag,. and, personally, like my paternal grandfather, and my Mom, I, too, am a subscriber.
Though that’s unrelated, it’s something I’m proud to state.
I truly enjoy the TV series Mariana Van Zeller leads yet wasn’t able to find any solid (TV) filler shows of equiv. caliber in-between seasons. This podcast fills that absence with clear reporting, gripping interviews often w/very dangerous, underground criminals. aAnd yet, they’re so entertaining & informative that I often forget they aren’t visual.
Thanks for the podcast! Love the travel around the globe & the education I’m gaining from your underground studies.
Your show def. follows those who often ‘hide in plain sight,’ seemingly down into their secretive, dark warrens, then puts the permitted or secret mike & camera on the daily, covert, illegal biz.: very informative, indeed.
Humans aren’t (technically) the rodent-like moles or gophers (made famous in Caddy Shack, of course), but many certainly try to follow their elusive, somewhat destructive patterns to survive and outwit those who chase after the violating, environmentally damaging critters. The NatGeo podcast & TV show highlight these frightening dirty businesses incredibly well. Thanks.”
