Despite all these tips and tricks you present, you sound disconnected from the rest of the civilised world, talking about developing countries in such derogatory tones.
A big part of the privilege of being able to travel around the world is the pleasure of experiencing foreign cultures and respecting their countries and traditions; not continuing to refer to them as ‘third world’ (not a one time slip) and being surprised that they’re not the only countries with dirty kitchens.
