“Sure it follows the typical trope and was a bit predictable but that does not mean it’s lazy or boring. I really enjoyed it. Kind of reminded me of something between a lovecraftian “ man and his bottles “ type of story and the vampiric tale of strain. Though it’s not about either of those particular niches. I think it’s well worth listening to while enjoying other activities like many of us use podcasts for. I listened to it while demolishing a damaged dune walk. It made the last 90 minutes better for sure.”
