“I’m not really sure why A.Ron bothers to host the show as he so much resentment for the show and flat out refuses to engage with the broader Star Wars canon. In the most recent episode he doesn’t care about the background history and would never watch the ‘cartoons’. If you’re not willing to watch a few 20 minute episodes of very well made tv to enrich your knowledge of the universe then why bother cover the show, or get angry when you don’t understand the lore? It’s this type pig headed, Gen X attitude towards newer Star Wars content that is contributing to the fandom becoming so toxic. I came away from listening to the last episode feeling really down for how negative his attitude was. It’s so disappointing to see from someone who normally produces such good quality content and treats the lore of the shows he covers with respect.”
