“I read Castaneda’s books back in 70’s with interest and enthusiasm. As a Peruvian who studied creative writing at a prestigious eastern university I learned from my brother who studied Peruvian archeology that Catstaneda was Peruvian and that his work was fiction. We both still enjoyed the lessons we learned about the pliability of reality. In today’s world where an entire political party builds a world out of fiction we should be smarter about how fantasy can invade our homes. A good series. I enjoyed it and appreciate hearing from those who knew Carlos.”
