Josh Szeps
I love this podcast but Josh claims to be a “sensible centrist” and then makes statements about things which are, at best, contested and at worse completely false. The notion of a “stolen generation” of indigenous children us hotly contested and respected historians completely dismiss the notion but acknowledge that children who were neglected.. in particular those of mixed ethnic parentage were taken into care. The statement that illegal immigrants are placed into “ concentration camps in the desert“ is an outrageous misstatement of fact. I urge yo to look at photos and videos if these “camps” … behind “gasp “ pool fencing, kids in schools, people visiting local markets etc The statement that there is no problem with ethnic “isolation” of immigrant groups in Australia is simply wrong… this continues to be a major problem in Australia… in PARTICULAR with immigrants who practice the Islamic faith. Josh made comments regarding the veracity of comments made in the media. He needs to think about his own commentary.

Kind of the Infinite Monkey Cage if it did political/social viewpoints or current affairs. Haven’t heard a boring program yet, I look forward to listening for many more years and seeing this show go from strength to strength.
