In 1931 the nearly nude body of 17 year old Louise Teuber was found hanging from an oak tree at the foot of Black Mountain Open Space Park which is now known as Cowles Mountain in San Diego County.  Her body was discovered by a man who was looking for a picnic location for he and his family.
