“I’ve been a long time listener of TCO and love G&P. This used to be a podcast where they were sensitive to other people’s opinions, beliefs, political affiliations, etc., but lately, it feels like everyone is a target and/or a bad person (when they differ in opinion from G&P’s opinions). I feel like they mean well, but a lot of their opinions have been getting mixed into the podcast and can come off incredibly offensive. It’s incredibly disheartening to be put into a category, or labeled as someone/something your not, by two people you looked up to and have supported for years.
I left the Facebook group after seeing a post that G&P “allowed/approved” where someone posted that they were offended about something being said. Instead of offering support or further explanation, the majority of commenters attacked this person and bullied them. Why would G&P allow this type of post in the first place (it’s kind of obvious that this group would attack this person, it’s how all the posts go when someone critiques G&P in the slightest), and why would they keep the post up? The person put an update saying they weren’t trying to offend anyone with their post, just trying to get G&P to recognize that their words/opinions have an impact on their listeners. I don’t think the person was trying to be offensive at all, and they were the first to say they weren’t trying to attack G&P. It’s sad that G&P allowed this type of bullying on this group, which I thought was something they stood against.
I’ll be cancelling my Patreon subscription and avoiding newer episodes too. I hope G&P leave out their political views/opinions and can be a bit more open minded moving forward.

“I live the concept of this podcast. The topics are interesting, and the discussions are well-formulated and researched. Admittedly, the dialect gets kind of annoying after a while.”
