Funny, uplifting, informed
Discovered this NUFC podcast about 3-months ago and love the content. The quality of the hosting is far better than other NUFC podcasts. Funny, irreverent, youthful and well informed. Alex Hurst and Charlotte Robson are excellent and have really taken this long running fanzine onto another level. It’s slick, humerous and for me just enough content without going over the top. The quality of the National and local journalists is great and they give real insight into going’s on behind the scenes. I’ve just signed up to Patreon and have not been disappointed. On there you get more content and a nice blend of nostalgia, views from upcoming opponents and immediate match reviews. For me as a Cheshire based Toon fan it makes me feel I’m connected to the view within the stadiums. What I also like is the professionalism of the hosting. No one over talks (take a hint there Supermac and Gibbo) and also the positivity whilst still referencing others’ occasional gripes about underperforming players. If I had one small gripe it’s that some of the regular guest panellists need to reduce the use of words such as ‘like’. Kudos to Charlotte for regulating her own use of such filler words.

Thank you for consistently delivering such an excellent podcast for our enjoyment. To do so in your own free time for nowt is all the more commendable. I particularly enjoy the special episodes, which take your show to an even higher level, above all the other preview-review football podcasts.
