In the early morning hours of July 19, 2017, police were searching for 13-year-old Marrisa Shen. Marrisa was reported missing just hours earlier. Tragically her body was found in a park in Burnaby BC. She was pronounced dead at the scene. After a year-long investigation, an arrest was made in 2018. But the case has been plagued with delays and controversy.
