“I am deeply worried about Trump (hence subscribing to the podcast) and the state of American democracy. Virginia is clearly highly intelligent, however the podcast needs a little more restraint and balance.
Sometimes she can be too hyperbolic and needs to be a little more circumspect about potential Trump crimes or conspiracies. Sometimes she asks too many leading questions of guests and often they have to rein in her interpretations (even if the guests lean towards the left).
As as result, she can become a little too enamoured with those stand up to Trump and can rhapsodise about them a little too much (hence her love of Stormy Daniels attorney Avenatti, who was later found guilty of extortion). She would even wax lyrical about the strength of Mueller’s jaw.
We don’t need slide towards the journalistic standards set by Fox News.”
