As someone who grew up walking on the beach at Balmedie, it pains me to think of the utter devastation that this “vanity project” has brought to this fragile and beautiful area. Having only recently returned to Scotland after living in California for 25 years, I have a renewed appreciation for the natural beauty of Aberdeenshire. It’s simply stunning ….and surely no round of golf was worth losing even a grain of sand or blade of marram grass for.”
