Ring a ring o’roses - pity about obvious inaccuracies
Black Death episode. The original rhyme makes so much more sense! Maybe worth checking non American sources… Ring-a-ring o’ roses - referring to marks on the skin A pocket full of posies - they used to carry flowers around for the scent to try and ward off the evil smells A-tishoo! A-tishoo! - sneezing. We all fall down - self explanatory

I’ve long been a fan of the Tudors and I’m so happy I found this podcast. It informs, engages, and offers new perspectives on a familiar history. I almost always learn something new or encounter a new way of thinking about the Tudors and the world in which they lived.
