Good topics, but revolves mostly about her book
UPDATE: I reduced the stars after listening to an episode that I would thought would be benefical to learning more about a client who has selective mutism. I was HOPING she would reduce the amount of times she brings up her book. I found it condescending that she sent her book to her guest to “review”. Reduced to two stars. I would like to hear more from the guests on the topic at hand. I really enjoy the topics that Dr. Barbera dives into and the professionals she interviews on the show. The reason why I gave 2 stars is because I feel I don’t hear enough from those being interviewed and the conversation gets turned around to Dr. Barbera talking about her experience for 3/5 of the conversational topic. Don’t get me wrong, I like hearing about her experience. But it takes away from the information I’m trying to learn from the guests on the show.

He has spent a year with decreased hearing from 1-2 and has just had ENT surgery. Difficult to say how much this has impacted on his speech, but...Read full review »
