“Twin Peaks is one of those cultural artifacts that seemingly keeps on popping up here and there in references and as a touchstone. This podcast finally galvanised me into getting on with watching it and I'm glad I have. As soon as I finish watching an episode of the show I instantly want to listen to the supporting podcast and it means I feel like I get more out of the show itself by being able to dwell on the events of it a little longer, hear background facts about how the epsiode was filmed or reacted to by the public at the time or just plain enjoy Chris and Jake's reactions to the more absurb events in some episodes. This podcast was a little stilted at first compared to the smooth meandering of the Idle Thumbs podcase because they stuck rigidly to discuissing it scene-by-scene, but they eventually start being freer in how they structure their discussions which I think works better.”
