“Me and my family are Star Wars fans and as I was listening to the Homily and how Elisha and the disciples had to leave everything behind including family and friends — all their loved ones - it occurred to me that perhaps the Jedi were patterned after the disciples! Jedi were not allowed to have personal relationships and had to let go of everything in their past in order to serve and accomplish the greater good for the world and the universe.”
