“Just couldn’t do it. Made it through a handful of episodes. Basically every character, place, and item (and of course there are a lot) is pronounced wrong despite a handy pronunciation guide in every book. Siuan = Sue Ann?? Nynaeve = Nuhnave?? Lan is basically the only name they can handle. The discussion isn’t terrible if you can handle the nails on chalkboard pronunciation. Plus the recording quality is terrible, you have to crank up the volume and it’s still quiet and buzzy. In the end it’s just not worth the aggravation.”
