Interesting and varied podcast about the Weird genre in literature and the fine arts
This is possibly the first podcast about Weird Fiction and Cinema from Sweden. Its direct translation is Weird Things. The term ‘Udda’ can also be translated as ‘Odd’. This might be a deliberate play on words, so that in the future the podcast might expand to cover general oddities outside of the arts. Even though the official language of the podcast is Swedish many of the interviews are in English, making it accessible to the non-Swedish speaking world. I met Henrik Möller at the NecronomiCon Providence 2015 and found him a learned, interesting, modest and friendly fellow, qualities that shine through in this podcast; most importantly, he is an internationally respected, award-winning Weird film maker. As such, he has no problems finding interesting fellow creators to interview. So far, his guests have included masters like Brian Yuzna, S T Joshi and Ramsey Campbell. Topics covered so far include authors H. P. Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith, and film-maker Werner Herzog. The episodes have been a delight to listen to. I thoroughly recommend this podcast.

More reviews of Udda Ting

Mycket intressant podd.
