“This is a Brilliant Podcast. As someone with very little wine knowledge, except for the fact that I liked drinking wine, this podcast has completely transformed my appreciation for wine! I listened to all the episodes on English Wine which are all excellent, then liking them so much I went back through the entire back catalogue from the beginning. Chris is a great host and a great interviewer. It is worth listening to them in order as you kind of learn alongside Chris. While Chris is obviously a great taster he spares us the tedium of tasing win ‘on mic’ so to speak and his interviews are at their best when they get really technical about viticulture and oenology. There is a news section at the beginning which is useful if you’re in the industry and want to keep up with developments but obviously becomes dated. This section is hosted by his wife Jane which gives a nice feel. Chris is very personable and brings you into his life which is just about the only criticism of the show, Chris insist on updating his audience on his triathlon training which is pretty boring. Other than that it’s great. 5-Star!”
