“The production value is good. That goes a long way. I do like the frequent updates. But this is maybe 4th or 5th Bears podcast on my list. I’ll listen when I go thru the others but rarely it’s an original or new perspective.
And I really don’t like Moon...guy sounds like Santa Clause doing a Skip Bayless impersonation.
For example he says, “Something doesn’t fee right” about Mitch not playing in the preseason. His point is that Bellichek is playing Brady. Reid is playing Mahomes. And because the Rams didn’t win the Super Bowl, he implied holding out starters in preseason was why....
Notice he didn’t mention the perennial bad teams who play their starters...Does that mean they’re going to the SB this year?
I do agree with him that preseason reps are meaningful and that Mitch should have some live practice diagnosing defenses and making reads. But do better in explaining why instead of cherry picking stats and spouting fallacies like my racist grandpa.
How about Mitch’s ability to run? How many QBs *this* preseason have we seen collide, either rushing or getting sacked? How about the slides Mitch made last year where he got clobbered anyways? A serious injury could keep him out several weeks and tank what is arguably our best roster and chance at a championship in years.”
