“There is so much more you can do with this topic! Everything was surface level and nothing felt truly investigated and explored. Is the podcast about the author trying to be an influencer? No (spoiler, she tried for a hot minute then gave up). Is it about stereotypes in women-led industries? No. Is it about the effects of influencers on a person? No. Is it about racial injustice and the pay gap within influencing? Touched on slightly but barely covered. So many ways this could’ve gone but it never picked a lane.”
