“I really enjoy the topics on this podcast and it has given my husband and I a lot of great things to talk about! Some of the episodes have come across as incredibly well-researched and informative, but many of the episodes in season 2 deal with tradwives and SAHM content, and despite the fact that Jo swears up and down she has no judgment for women who stay at home or fill more traditional gender roles, her content comes across as very judgmental. I think there’s a certain amount of self-awareness that is lacking in many of these episodes of how her own insecurities and biases (which is totally normal and happens for all of us!) affect the way she delivers some of her content and opinions. I think she tries really hard to come across as unbiased and non-judgmental about choices that differ from hers, but honestly I would respect her takes a lot more if she could just own that her opinions are in fact judgments of how some women do things differently than she does.”
