“This is for those who like crime podcasts and those like myself who do not like crime podcasts! I love how Mel provides details in her storytelling without giving gruesome or bloody illustrations. She tells the stories that humanize the black women and girls, which is something that we need more of in this world! I appreciate how she gives background context, sets the scene, and gives honest answers for the things she just doesn’t know. Because these stories are underreported, there will never be a day where ALL the answers and details are presented, but the purpose of this podcast is loud and clear. We need the education around these stories in case someone can help, knows some details, or maybe, just maybe, a victim is listening!
