Slow, but bad accent.
Let me start by saying that I am a southerner, and a linguist. Learning a new language is difficult, and while these are incredibly helpful in their content, I'm afraid the reader is a bit too southern. Enhanced dipthongs and flattened vowels work for us in English, but this is not helpful as an aid to proper pronunciation in another language. While it does not teach Latin Spanish, Coffee Break Spanish's host trades his thick Scottish accent for a Spanish one. Audio quality is also bad. It sounds like it was done thirty feet from the recorder in an empty dorm room, complete with echos.

The young woman's Southern drawl is beautiful. In fact, I have one to match, as her state borders mine but the goal is to NOT pronounce Spanish words as though we are having lunch under the mossy oaks at the old plantation homes. Her Southern accent is WAY too much.
