Claim to be objective
I started listening to unfilter in the beginning of the presidential race, to get another side on the story from the common media outlets. I did not always agree, but it was nice to hear some other perspectives, in particular about sec. Clinton. Now the election is over, this show has really gone into crazy mode. It is just frustrating to listen to these podcaster (esp. Chris, Chase actually tries to be the reasonable one) trying to turn every little bit of news, in such a way that they can blame the demoncrats/cliniton/obama or whatever. More frustrating is the fact that any bad news on the Trumps or their adminstration is swept under the rug and not discussed. I understand people have different opinions and perspectives; but this goes beyond opinion. They are desiving their audience by selectively picking their news fragements, only commenting on their favorite new conspiracy story, and ignoring all facts and previous occurances that are out there. Im not saying that everything they do is lie, but they clearly have a message they want to bring forward. It is evident when claims concerning Trump are made, anonymous sources, political sources etc. are not good enough but when it touches Hilary all of a sudden that aint a problem (like the last episode 13july2017). Their entire show is made up of this. In short, they claim to be a open-minded and objective news outlet; they are not! Dont waste your time here if factual (or unbiased) journalism is important to you. Not subscribing anymore

Sorry, this is just another podcast devolving into conspiracy theory nonsense. I gave it 13 episodes, but there is no sign that the hosts are going to do more than spew misinformed half truths. Learn to fact check or don't do a podcast covering serious topics!Read full review »
