Heavy heavy
This podcast masterfully takes us on a journey of who lynched/killed Isadore Banks while providing context on how history was kept, the purpose of lynchings, and how what happened to Isadore was interconnected with other themes such as rascism, Jim Crow, power, and reconstruction. Though this podcast is heavy with stories and real accounts of rage and murder, it is a must listen. Though I am from the south I don’t think I could have ever articulated some of the tension, that dates back so long ago. Well done!!
