Disappointing compared to their Web sites
If you can get past Lukas’s weird hatred of corporations (he has an irrational hatred of ads on unis and the names of sports venues) plus his odd obsession with socks and Creamer’s Centre Of The Universe mentions (it’s a Canadian thing...let’s just say we’re not all enamoured of the Make Beliefs and BJs...the Argos and Raps we can deal with as neither annoy us) then it’s fine. I can’t plus it’s very difficult to discuss logos and uniforms without SEEING what they are on about. Even on the YouTube broadcast of this pod there are virtually no visuals other than their talking heads. Feel Unfied would work far better as a maybe TV series looking at various aspects of sports teams’ attire. Like if these two put their talents together and churned out seasons of this stuff. It can even stick to the topical (i.e., would you not watch a program on how the Cleveland Guardians name and look came about rather than just having two people doing their version of At The Movies). There’s the rub maybe also. We need more point-counterpoint and way more passion from these two. When my friends and family talk logos or unis we get fired up, excited, lively but, honestly, for two guys from two major metropolis they both seem to need a fire lit under them to spark real debate which makes podcasts fun to listen to. Not phony Steven A. outrage but a little Barkley to both of your personalities would be a plus. Needless to say, I did give this pod and the YouTube version a shot months ago and, sadly, it just did not grab me like the Uni Watch or Sports Logo sites do.

Thanks for raising awareness of this problem with improper commemoration!

I’m a casual lurker on both Uni Watch and Sports Logos and this show is the best. A great mix of humor, knowledge and tidbits about the minutiae of uniforms. I’m catching up on episodes but so far I really love it!

Great conversation! Happy to be on board from Episode 1. You have ‘laid a good foundation.’ Chris, this reminds me of a GO train ride conversation on the way to watch the Leafs!
