Logic and critical thinking
“And we ourselves need to know the nature of truth, and we need to teach it to our kids and teach them logic and critical thinking…” (#34, “Polyamory is Next in the Sexual Revolution”, Feb. 28, 2024) Also in episode 34, one of the hosts states “…I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that’s involved with these kids and what people are doing. I mean, it’s one thing for the people in the relationships to be hurting themselves and be rebelling against God. It’s another thing to be hurting the kids who get involved.” By making the assertion that parents’ polyamory hurts children, without providing evidence for the assertion, this host commits the logical fallacy of “begging the question”, also known as “assuming the conclusion”. It is ironic that the host says “…I cannot even begin to imagine the pain…” when, in fact, imagining is solely what she is doing.

Great podcast settled on the rock of Truth, these sisters in Christ bring truth in light of culture. Thank you both and to the team and prayer warriors who’ve made this all possible. Praying over future episodes that they’ll lead even just one soul to The Lord.

Both Natasha and Alisa are such wise women and I can’t wait for this new collaboration!! This is going to be an excellent source of wisdom for adults and teens about cultural issues we face in social media.

Love this new podcast. The first episode did not disappoint. Such clear, compassionate thinking about a difficult topic. Encouraging.
