Hi, Brother Halverson!
I’m listening to Episode 119. You put a hook out there about the meaning of a river on which no man would be safe; I’m biting. lol Since u mentioned ties with apocalyptic meanings, may I suggest that for people who lived along rivers, particularly before personal automobiles were a “thing”, those rivers were the highways. In times of societal degradation and open crime, I suspect there are a great many who feel unsafe in the streets, even among those whose lives‘ missions have taken them to be educated on a great many and far-flung rivers and roadways. Or perhaps that in the tumult of the last days, everyday life wouldn’t be easy for the faint of heart.
