With everything going on in my life I recorded this episode about two months ago. But with my recent promotion I decided to re-record it. In 2019 I checked in to my new command and sat down with my supervisor, now friend and mentor to review my record. He gave me an honest assessment and told me if I want to promote I would have to give it all I had just to have a chance. So I went back to my friends house where I was staying contemplating retiring then. But Shelly and My wife said keep pushing Frankie you can do it. So I trusted him, did everything he told me to do and the process worked.
