“I appreciate your spots in SM very much, and I’m thrilled about your podcast. You present things in good nature, with open mindedness, and in a way that makes me/us feel as we’re sitting across from each other at the kitchen table or the backyard. Reasonable, relatable, easy to understand, and never patronizing.
For decades and decades, every Sunday, my husband and I have been attending “Sunday Morning services,” which helps us renew our faith in society and human kind, where we see and experience beauty, where we travel and learn, where we get to be amazed by concepts, places, nature, art, and people, and where we’re so necessarily humbled by the world and humanity…
I have only one complaint about SM: for many, many years now, and since the time that they shortened The Moment of Nature, I close my eyes in protest, while my husband always plays the the same game to tempt me into opening them; he goes “Wow!,” “Your’re missing this,” “Look, this amazing,” or “How cute!”… I have, yet, to fall for it! During the 80’s, one could relax into the image and genuinely feel that “we were there;” but now, those moments are shorter, leaving me/us longing for that same experience. (Or, could it be that I got older and time keeps moving faster?)
However, indeed, that’s not you. You take us in, and with your kind disposition, you invite us to see what you see, and do your best to help us see it from every angle.
I’m looking forward to continue listening to your podcast and learn from your work; after all, my decades long Moment of Nature’s protest trained me well to hear and imagine… who knew?”
