Dr. Mojgan Jadidi is a faculty member at York University’s Lassonde school of Engineering. She has a PhD in Geomatics, a Masters in Earthquake and Seismology Engineering and did her undergrad in Civil-Survey Engineering. Her work and her studies have taken her around the world from Iran to Italy to France and to Canada. Mojgan and I talk about geomatics and its impact on our lives, her work as an engineering professor, and the importance of ethics in engineering. We explore her research interests including predicting and mitigating the impact of earthquakes and coastal erosion, automated marine vehicles and route planning, low impact development and stormwater management.
