Azapo and the PAC have called on South Africans never to forget where they come from. The two leftist parties commemorated the June 16 Soweto Uprisings at the Avalon Cemetery in Soweto on Saturday. This is where the remains of the mastermind behind the student protests of that fateful day Tsietsi Mashinini and Khotso Seatlholo as well as the first victims of the uprisings Hastings Ndlovu and Hector Pieterson are buried.
