The Democratic Alliance says it has decided to continue its negotiations with the African National Congress over the formation of the Government of National Unity, despite the disagreements over positions for cabinet ministers. During a special DA Federal Executive meeting last night the DA decided to continue discussions through the weekend. Earlier this week, President Cyril Ramaphosa lashed out at the party saying that he believed the party had jeopardized the foundations of the GNU in a final written letter to DA leader, Jonh Steenhuisen regarding the latest cabinet negotiations.
