The Social Equitable
I can follow design load forces in a building, design heat flows through a building thermal envelope, and water flows through a site, but following money in the economic system that all of my building and site design projects operate within has vexed my professional practice for 20 years. I’m a systems thinker but not an economist and yet have recently come to understand that there is no “market value” for restoring human and ecological health which every building and site project could and should contribute positively to.
