‘A mind that is not clear, a mind that is confused, will inevitably choose. But for a mind that sees very clearly, there is no choice at all.’ This week’s episode on Choice has three sections. The first extract (2:40) is from Krishnamurti’s fourth talk in New Delhi 1972, and is titled: Choice Implies Duality and Confusion. The second extract (30:52) is from the third talk in Saanen 1965, and is titled: Choice and the Will to Change. The final extract in this episode (1:00:52)) is from Krishnamurti’s fourth talk at Brockwood Park in 1976, and is titled: Awareness Without Choice. Each episode of the Krishnamurti podcast features carefully selected extracts from the archives. The aim is to represent different aspects of Krishnamurti’s radical approach to many of the issues and questions we all face in our lives. This week’s theme is Choice.
