It can often be tempting as a practitioner or a patient to chase down a big, tearful emotional release on the table to prove that healing is really happening. Sophia reminds us in this episode that when we let go of preconceived notions about what healing looks like, and observe what is really present in the moment of healing, we might not see any big display. There is no perfect way a healing should look and we can even head the wrong direction for a person in a moment by hunting for the drama. Big healing moments can absolutely have waterworks and the screams of labor, but they're not any better or worse without those things.
