The good and bad evens out to average.
The podcast host has a good voice, the technical side of things is fine, and fair play to anyone doing a podcast entirely solo (which is much harder than having co-hosts), but there’s absolutely NO need to run through an ENTIRE plot summary of a movie before discussing opinions and factoids relating to the film. More podcasters should learn that lesson, but it feels particularly egregious here when the subsequent discussion doesn’t always hinge on major spoilers. EDIT: things improve greatly as the podcast progresses, with more of a focus on information and context than complete plot summaries. I always tend to knock a star off though for any podcast that feels as if a) it uses user comments for content, and b) it feels a bit too cliquey at times.

I am a sucker for a British accent. Em is a delightful and insightful reviewer who includes context, background and behind-the-scenes details in her reviews. Definitely recommended listening!
