What could have been
I discovered this podcast a few months ago and enjoyed the mature, pure and relatable way to look at games. Also, this podcast was always very honest about games and the state they released in. I’m now compelled to write a review and warn anyone about this podcast. They recently talked about Dragon’s Dogma and praised it. They even praised that the game does not have a “New game” option. Not only did they accept or defend a backwards gameplay implementation (a basic feature being left out of a game on purpose), they actively praised it as a good thing. This is especially terrible journalistic work when you consider that the game offers options to edit your character for real money. Knowing that, they still praised the fact that this game does not offer the option to delete your character and start a new one. I’m so disappointed in the people involved with this podcast. They always seemed like they had integrity. The episode about Dragon’s Dogma 2 showed they don’t. They blindly praised the game. Microtransactions aside, they did not even mention the terrible PC and console performance of the game. This is not independent journalism. And yes, I know they won’t change anything because of a comment, this is just a heads up for future potential listeners.

Been a great listen since episode 1. Always great takes on the news, and the occasional interviews are just the cherries on top!

Been listening since the first episode, perhaps the best gaming podcast around. Not only covering the biggest news stories from the week but they also provide genuine laugh out loud moments. Keep it up :toot:
