“At times like this, nothing better to tune into a podcast like this, the host was a professional player with a glorious, injury free career.
Rio reminds me of a good honest blue collar worker (obviously his hourly pay rate was massive) doing his work, turning up day in day out and being solid for his players and his family.
At times like this, we need to hold onto the spirits of our forefathers, the daily grind and remember, most people are not born with talent, they do their 10,000 hours, and it’s no surprise they achieve success, to Rio’s credit, he has achieved this and more, without ego, just hard work. I say just hard work, but to be fair, hard work in these times is questionable, as humans we are a little too comfortable.
Rio, thanks for the inspiration, wishing you many more years of happiness and contentment.
