“Every episode is is peppered with Doug reminding everyone that it’s his show and he created it and he had a hand in the thing that someone else is talking about. Or he brought these people together or that he influenced/orchestrated/inspired this/that/everything. We get it, you created a show I and many others love. Nobody is trying to take that away from you so please just shut up already. You remind me of Donkey from Sheen jumping up and down shouting “pick me, pick me!” That aside, a decent podcast and a great trip down memory lane.

Doug Ellin has a personality very similar to Donald Trump. Just in case that wasn’t clear but I do not mean that as a compliment. He has the demeanour of a toddler who has been told to go to bed early. Connolly is like salt: too much of it/him and it ruins the flavour. There is a fine line between pride and arrogance guys, tread carefully.”
