A truly enriching listen (even for non-musicians)!
I’m a few episodes into ViolaCentric and really enjoying it! While I wasn’t sure whether the themes and topics of discussion would apply to me as a non-musician, I find myself responding with full body nods (to borrow a phrase) multiple times each episode. We all need an outlet for our creativity, positivity, and transformative ideas right now, and listening to Liz and Stephanie do their part to not only cope with the pandemic, but to envision a broader and more inclusive future for their industry, does my heart a world of good. If you’re on the fence, give just one episode a listen. Before you know it, these two will have you ready to hit all kinds of high notes (or whatever the music version of running through a wall might be)!

Love listening to the thought-provoking conversation between these two and their guests, both music and non-music related. Someday they’ll be guests on Oprah and I’ll be able to say, “I’ve been a listener since the beginning!”

This was a lovely and funny conversation about performing music and connection and the negative and positive impacts of the pandemic. It resonated so much with me, also a musician missing performance.

As a violist and music educator, I really enjoy these conversations as it opens my eyes to the life of free lance performers and private lesson teachers. It’s so inspiring! And Liz and Steph are so fun to listen to! 💜🎻
