“I was hooked from the first episode.
The narrator has a controlled cadence to her speech and richness to her voice that really grounds the story. She’s fantastic.
She really paints a picture with her words and the command she has with her voice.
I know audio podcasts are a completely different artform and in many ways superior but I can TOTALLY see this as a full budget TV series.
SO GOOD....
I NEVER EVER listen to a podcast more than once. There are so many good ones out there, I like to take full advantage.
But I’ve listened to this first season three times already! I think the fact it’s only 5 episodes lended to that but nevertheless, I listened to it again similarly entertained.
It’s so well told...the pace, the actors, the sound production.
The essence of the story line has been told before but the manner in which it’s told is altogether fresh and new.
Really looking forward to the next seasons.”
