Description
Five-piece band Peach Tree Rascals achieved viral success in 2020 with their single “Mariposa” — which amassed millions of views and listens before the band ever set foot on a stage. Now, the group is on their first-ever headlining tour, which stopped at Chicago’s Beat Kitchen this June. Ahead of the show, band members Dom Pizano, Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq and Issac Pech sat down with Vocalo’s Nudia Hernandez to discuss releasing new music amidst pressure to make another hit, pursuing music as a first-generation citizen and their high school origin story. This interview was produced by Nudia Hernandez. It was edited by Morgan Ciocca. Keep up with Peach Tree Rascals on social media at @peachtreerascal.
