Excellent points but podcast needs refining
Will start with positives. Mike does a great job of presenting subversive ideas about the Church’s response to current times and what it means to be a ‘Christian in process’. However, a couple confusions. First, the beginning 10 minutes is a bit of a waste, especially for the listener. It’s OK for the full podcast to be ‘intense’ and focused, since that is what the listener is seeking, not Adele/Ducks/etc. Second, Andy’s role is confusing and undefined. Therefore, he is left to affirm, restate, or ask leading questions to prove what Mike has already said, and is jested when presenting a remotely opposing viewpoint. Third, the interview with Bonnie included some excellent points but lacked structure and sufficient space for Bonnie to narrate her story and message without interjection.... Anyways, just a few thoughts as it is a relatively newer podcast and has yet to be refined. Progress over perfection = ).

So make it longer I guess. But Mike, Pearl Jam ? Go deep in the music of that era. Let's have some Melvins comments...Read full review »
