“Words fail me (but I’m gonna try :) when I consider how influential Jamie Grace’s content has been in my life; however, I’ll try to keep it to this podcast lol to be transparent because I’m sure I’m not the only single sister who felt it, I was both elated and sad when she announced her engagement. Elated because she has so graciously shared her life and story via social media and YouTube for years to the point it’s like a friend’s engagement, so you want to celebrate. I was saddened because I was unsure of whether this figure I loved and relied on (in a healthy way of course) would be relatable to my ongoing single-hood; so much so, that I kind of tuned out the content she put out for a couple months. Y’all!!!!!!!!!!!❤️ when I tell y’all that when she revamped this podcast (I can’t remember what it was originally called, unless I just made it up in my my mind that she changed it) it has been such a continued blessing in my life. Jamie uses wisdom from her journey as a single adult and someone who chose to “wait it out” to really help us thrive on this journey and practice contentment with who we are, where we are and I am grateful that she gives of herself so freely to enhance this segment of the kingdom of God: it is valuable and needed in a world and internet space that shares completely different and many times, unhealthy messages regarding singleness and what that looks like. Thank you Jamie, AKA, my best friend in my head 😂❤️”
